Katie Hewison, a former World Duathlon Champion and Elite ITU triathlete, has a wealth of personal and coaching experience to help you perform at your best.
After many years competing as an elite athlete Katie wanted to share her knowledge with others. She now works with a wide range of athletes including British junior elite triathletes, GB age group triathletes and duathletes and runners from 1500m-marathon.
KHC was set up in 2012 when Katie was still competing, in which time she has helped to support athletes to World Championship titles, coaching athletes to their first Ironman distance and improving personal bests. Katie specialises in Sprint and Olympic Distance coaching and endurance run coaching for those who are serious about improving their competitive performance.
Katie’s approach to success starts off with first helping athletes to build an enjoyable environment surrounded by a good team of people, family, friends and coaches. Katie creates challenging and varied sessions, helping athletes to set and achieve goals. She encourages communication and an honest open attitude. You can be sure to have a motivated and personal coach with Katie who will help you get the most out of yourself and your sporting journey.
Katie is a qualified Level 2 British Triathlon coach, Level 3 British Athletics coach and Strength and Conditioning instructor.
Katie is particularly passionate about helping juniors improve their performance and is the lead North West Academy Coach for British Triathlon, alongside volunteering at Chorley Athletic and Triathlon Club as one of the lead junior endurance coaches.
